Fraxinus Architecture is a Macedon Ranges based architecture practice specialising in design driven custom homes and country property planning.
We have great experience in contemporary new homes and renovations throughout Victoria with a particular interest in rural homes and country property planning. The practice is passionate about residential architecture and interiors and aims to create contemporary structures that incorporate intelligent designs, ecologically sustainable systems, and innovative characteristics.
We benefit from a collaborative studio environment, drawing on our relationships with quality consultants. This ensures a consistently high standard of design and documentation service is provided, with a seamless transition from concept to completion.

Daniel Ash
Daniel Ash founded Daniel Ash Architects in 2009, rebranded as Fraxinus Architecture in 2022, and has since established a considerable body of work including city and country homes, townhouse and apartment developments, interior fit outs and small commercial works.
Now based in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Daniel combines architecture with managing a small farm and warmblood horse stud, and has a particular interest in designing homes for rural Australia and assisting clients with designing country properties and rural/equine facilities.
Daniel’s aim is to create beautifully considered projects which have been specifically designed for the end user, reflecting their brief and their own aesthetic style.
